Prussing School is looking to develop a partnership with Lurie Children’s Hospital to support our school families and community members, but we need your help. To determine a better understanding of what parents and families want and need, we are asking you to complete a survey to make your voices heard. The links are listed below and are available at this time in English, Arabic, and Spanish. Please take a few minutes to give us your feedback.

Since we are now in the Winter Season, please drop off your child at the Main Door every school day until March 1st. Student marshals will assist the primary grade students to safely enter the auditorium. Students will be dismissed at their regularly assigned door at the end of the school day at 3:15 p.m. Also, please make sure that your child is dressed appropriately for the weather at recess time. For safety reasons, animals (e.g. dogs, cats, etc.) are not allowed on school grounds. Attendance at school is very important to ensure that your child receives a high quality academic education. Please make sure that students arrive on time for school every day. The school day begins promptly at 8:15 a.m. (otherwise they will be counted as tardy), and dismissal time is at 3:15 p.m. Children should not be dropped off before 8:00 a.m. There is no supervision for students prior to that time. If you are bringing your child to school and walking through the parking lot, please make sure to walk inside the yellow line alongside the school for safety reasons. The upcoming events listed in this newsletter can be found on the Prussing School Calendar at http://prussing.cps.edu/upcoming-events.html
